The April Student Success Team meeting was held on April 14th, 10:30am–12pm in the Richey Ballroom (#376), IMU.
At this meeting, we began a collaborative discussion to co‑create a shared student success framework – a tool increasingly used at institutions to clarify the conditions, practices, and institutional commitments that helped students flourish both inside and outside the classroom. By building this framework together, we aimed to reflect and further support the many ways areas across campus contributed to student learning and success. We shared institutional examples and other ideas and learned from participants what resonated, what was missing, and what evidence should guide our approach. We also collaboratively planned next steps that aligned with strategic priorities.
Your partnership was essential to shaping a framework that meaningfully guided institutional efforts, strengthened collaboration, and supported our collective impact. This was a key moment to influence how the University of Iowa defined, aligned, and advanced campus wide student success – now and into the future. We appreciated everyone who attended.
