The February Student Success Team Meeting was held on Tuesday, February 11, from 10:30-12pm in the Richey Ballroom, IMU. Our February meeting focused on campus wide teaching and learning efforts. We learned about: 1.) recent work to expand support for student accessibility needs and the work of the Accessibility Taskforce Teaching Subcommittee (ASIAGO), specifically around the new Ally tool in ICON and the Course Accessibility for Everyone (CAFE) initiative, and 2.) the Center for Teaching’s Faculty Learning Community on Assessing Assessment and its role in exploring and implementing practices to benefit student learning. We engaged in group discussion about continuing to grow academic and student affairs partnerships that could inform student success efforts in years four and five of the UI Strategic Plan. View the presentation slides.
